The Ministry of Love
is one of four ministries which assist the Big Brother in the government of Oceania in the novel 1984 by George Orwell.The Ministry of Love deals with curb any signs of dissent against Big Brother and Ingsoc against the despotic ruling party of Oceania. His name is ironic, therefore, is consistent with the and doublethink.
